Common post-surgery symptoms
After orthopaedic surgeries like ACL reconstruction, meniscus repair, joint replacement, fracture fixation or shoulder repair — it is normal to experience changes in movement and function.
- Pain and stiffness around the operated joint
- Swelling or warmth in the surgical area
- Difficulty bearing weight or moving the arm/leg
- Weakness and muscle loss (due to immobilisation)
- Reduced balance, gait changes or difficulty with daily tasks
If you notice excessive redness, fever, or increasing pain — contact your surgeon immediately.
